Amy + Stuart were married at St John The Evangelist Church, Plumpton, near Penrith. Amy arrived in a convertible Volkswagen Beetle with her Father while her Mum joined the bridesmaids in a vintage VW camper. It was a lovely church service carried out by the Rev David Sargent who I would like to thank for making me so welcome. After the ceremony everyone travelled to Askham Hall for the reception. I managed to get a few quiet moments with the bride and groom in the garden before they all sat down for the speeches and meal. There was a real treat for the evening entertainment with singer songwriter Pete Lashley performing in the courtyard and the barn. I’m a big fan of Pete’s and you should be too! You can find his website at www.petelashley.com.
Amy + Stuart were really lucky with there weather, it was sunny and warm throughout the day. Many of their guests had travelled from afar including Australia, San Francisco, Stockholm and Stuart’s father came from his home in China. They are such lovely and genuine people, its not hard to see why the friends and family made such an effort to join them on their big day.
