Palmera + Cal | Storrs Hall and The Wild Boar

Palmera + Cal were married in September at the Storrs Hall Hotel. They were treated to some Lake District sunshine and were able to hold their ceremony outdoors down by the lake. It was a spectacular setting for two lovely people. Pam is from Chelmsford and Cal from Sheffield but work in London for the same company. Palmera told me it was’t until a few years after they got together that they realised they started working there in the same week! Cal proposed during a visit to The Lake District when they stayed at the Wild Boar, the venue for their wedding breakfast and evening reception. They considered getting married in Croatia, India and Scotland but thought ‘why not come back!’

I’m so pleased they did because it was a magical day!

Palmera’s dress was absolutely stunning and was created by Martina Liana. Cal looked very sharp in his Reiss suit. Pocket Squares and invitations were from Kate Eva Designs. The car was supplied by Windermere Wedding Cars and was once used by the Queen Mother. Flowers by Valerie Anns in Windermere. Hair and Make-up was by Jade Louise. The cheese cake was from The International Cheese Company and wedding favours were supplied by Cancer Research in memory of Cal’s Mum who was very much in their thoughts.

Thank you so much Steve. You did such a fantastic job of capturing moments we didn’t even know were happening and I didn’t even know you were there for! Each time we look over the pictures we’re transported back to the best day ever.

Thank you so much – We wish everyone could get to use you at their wedding.
