One of my favourite wedding venues is The Merewood Hotel located between Windermere and Ambleside. I’ve been lucky enough to photograph quite a few weddings there and have several booked this year and next. Almost a year ago exactly I photographed Sue + Craig’s wedding and what a fabulous day it was. The best man was an old school friend, in fact I knew quite a few of the guests which is always nice. Sue + Craig are very easy going and had a great day. They had booked the best wedding entertainer in the business, Howard Wing, who performed during the reception and evening function. I enjoyed Howard’s singing so much I ended up downloading his albums and going to see him with a big band at The De Vere Hotel in Blackpool a few months later! Sue + Craig will be celebrating their first wedding anniversary very shortly so I send my congratulations and very best wishes x
